I draw on a variety of clinical approaches that include developing a comfortable, non judgmental, and empathic relationship. I utilize therapeutic methods that have been shown to be effective with a specific problem being addressed, otherwise known as evidence based practice.

These methods include cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, social skill development, family systems theory and problem solving. We will also utilize insight oriented approaches to explore and understand underlying factors that may be contributing to distress. We can then work together to help an individual make choices that allow for healthier functioning and relationships.
