I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Illinois, with a masters degree in social work from the University of Illinois. I have over 25 years of clinical experience at the University of Illinois' Mckinley Student Health Center. I regularly collaborate with the psychiatrists and physicians at Mckinley. I have over 20 years of experience providing supervision to clinical staff and graduate students. I have taught multiple classes at the University of Illinois in the Social Work and Community Health departments.
I have a special interest in helping clients with anxiety issues. This includes social anxiety, panic disorder, excessive worry, phobias and obsessive compulsive disorder. I also specialize in working with individuals who have issues with depression and relationship disharmony.
In addition to individual therapy, I offer an anxiety management workshop. Workshop participants learn a variety of tools to cope with excessive worry and anxiety symptoms. Participants also benefit from the support of other workshop members. I have run this workshop for over 24 years at the University of Illinois' Student Health Center.
